Health Affairs Forefront has published a remembrance of Susan Wood by Anne Markus, chair of the Department of Health Policy and Management at the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health. The piece describes Susan's work for the federal government and at GW and reflects on her impact. It concludes with this:

"Susan leaves a legacy of public service and scientific integrity. Her contributions are enormous and inspiring. A model for speaking out and standing up in hard times, she provides an example of the kind of courage that is so needed today. Susan will continue to have a lasting impact in the women’s health policy community, which holds much admiration for her as a person and for everything she had done for women and for public health."
